Steel, wood, glass, carbon, plastic, aluminum, in essence completely varied materials – nevertheless, when skilfully combined, they turn into a work of art of sports equipment.

BASIC SKI BUILDING SEMINAR – MATERIALS

In the BASIC SEMINAR, in order to for you to build an excellent pair of skis, we provide you exclusively with premium materials, such as wooden ski core, fiberglass, edges, ski base and epoxy resin.

WOOD CORE

We work with ash wood cores, as there are some great advantages in using them – their permanent load, flexibility and a high stability. They are robust and do not absorb any water, therefore it is less likely that the ski binding is going rip out and the skis won’t swell when damaged.

STEEL EDGES

The skis are equipped with steel edges, which just like the ski base are specially hardened. The durability of the steel edges is influenced by special alloy treatment. The higher the quality of the edges, the more often they can be sharpened and the longer they stay sharp.

SKI BASE

For the ski base we use high-quality sintered coating, which gives them a higher slippage and a greater wax absorption – found mainly in racing skis. Our transparent bases can also be customised by sublimation- or net printing.

FIBERGLASS

One of the main ski components is a 3-layered fiberglass weave. This Triaxal fiberglass is essentially used for vibration dampening and to stiffen the ski. However, together with the wood core, they play also an important role in the regulation of ski’s pliancy and pressure load.

PRO SKI BUILDING SEMINAR – MATERIALS

In the PRO MATERIAL SEMINAR you can learn about and select special materials. The skis will be created according to your wishes – with light-weight wood core, carbon or titanium. In addition, there is also a possibility to integrate the side walls, the tip / tail protections and to implement a cap construction. This way you can create a really unique pair or skis – from ultra-light, through racing, to a bespoke with integrated damping and protection elements.
